How to Make Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing
Here's how you can make homemade Caesar Salad dressing that tastes great and is way better than anything you can buy from the store.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
- 1 fresh garlic clove - pressed & mashed to a paste
- 1/4 cup half-and-half cream or milk
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- pinch of salt
- fresh ground pepper (to taste)
Directions
In a bowl whisk together the anchovy paste, the garlic clove paste, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Then add 1 cup mayonnaise, the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste and thin with half-and-half cream (or milk). Whisk all of the Caesar salad dressing ingredients together until everything is combined with a nice consistency. Cover dressing and put in the refrigerator to chill for at least two hours in order for flavors to blend together nicely.
