Start the Task Manager on a Microsoft Windows computer.
by
The Windows Task Manager can be used to start programs, to end running applications, to start or to end processes, as well as to view a dynamic display of your computer's performance. To be able to start the Windows Task Manager, you can use any one of the three following actions (on a Windows computer):
  • Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
  • Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and then click Start Task Manager.
  • Right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
