How do I find friends on Facebook?

How do I search for friends on Facebook? How do I add them?

On the upper right hand corner of Facebook, you will see a tab entitled “Find Friends”. Click the tab and from there, Facebook offers you multiple options to help you narrow down your search such as hometown, current location, secondary school, mutual friends, college or university, and employers. You can also simply type in your friend’s name in the blank search box at the top of the home page.
