Acne treatment takes time but it is not impossible. Don't squeeze them, this can make them worse. If you just have a few of them, you can treat them with creams or gels containing benzoyl peroxide. Always remove make-up before going to bed.

In case you have more of them, you need to see a doctor. There is medication containing antibiotics, retinoids and azelaic acid. A dermatologist can also prescribe a medicine called isotretinoin. Women may also receive hormonal therapies.
