How can i stop my name appearing in search engine results?

Actually, if your name is not on your own website, you can hardly prevent it. The only way out is if you use a nickname on the Internet. If the website is yours, you can use the <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"/> command to exclude the page from searches.

On the Internet, you are lucky if you have a common name, nobody will know which John Black or Wendy Smiths you are. Otherwise you can try to "bury" information about you by adding neutral pages about you.
