Should i let my neighbor feed my cat?

Wondering if should let my neighbor feed my cat? What's the negatives with having your neighbor feed your pet?

It totally depends on your relationship with your neighbor, and how comfortable you feel with them being in your house while your away to feed your cat.

If you trust your neighbor and think they are reliable and pet friendly, than it could work out fine. You certainly want to make it worthwhile for them if you do have them feed your cat. In other words, give them some money for time spent, or a bottle of wine, or a gift certificate for dinner when you get back to say thank you.

The downside of having your neighbor feed your cat is that if something goes wrong, they are your neighbor and you have to live next to them... This could cause a factured relationship.

Just use your best judgement, and hopefully things work out for the best.
