iPad 3 release date is poised for a September 2011 launch. This will be only about six months after the iPad 2 is launched, which is happening tomorrow Wednesday, March 2, 2011.

The iPad 3 is going to be a much bigger release than iPad 2... since there will be huge improvements and new features added to the iPad 3. If you can wait 6 months to get your hands on an iPad, it will probably be worth the wait for an iPad 3.
