The London subways should get cellular service up and running to the underground transit system by the 2012 Summer Olympics. The plan is to have UK''s five biggest wireless carriers (Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, and 3) cover the cost of wiring the subways wireless service, which is set to cost £100m-plus cost.
