Where can I donate old shoes that I no longer wear?

Is there a place that excepts old shoes? I'd like to donate or give away my old shoes that I'm no longer wearing, and don't want to just throw them out since they are still in decent shape? Where can I donate old shoes?

You can give them to Donate Your Old Shoes http://donateyouroldshoes.org/.
Nevertheless, shoes must be shipped at your expense.

If you cannot send them at your own cost, contact the local thrift store of Arc's Value Village, Goodwill or The Salvation Army. If your friends join your effort, Goodwill may pick up large amounts of clothing and shoes.
