Yes, AT&T will email you and Order Confirmation that your (pre-ordered) iPhone 6 has shipped. The shipping confirmation email will contain a UPS tracking number, so you can track the shipment.

You should also receive a Text Message from AT&T with shipping confirmation stating the following: "Congratulations! Your AT&T device has shipped for order .... To track your shipment go to... "
